Perth & regional Western Australia
A claim drifts when nobody owns the middle.
Doctors treat. Insurers pay. Employers manage the workplace. Nobody automatically owns the space between them, and that is where claims stall, costs build and good workers lose confidence. Thrive is the employer’s injury management resource — preventing the injuries we can, and owning the ones we can’t from the first phone call to the day the file closes.
No obligation. Send one stalled file and we'll tell you where it's stuck.
The same injury, two claims
Illustrative
Back at work on suitable duties. File closed.
Still open. Certificates rolling over, dispute risk rising.
The difference between these two lines is rarely the injury. It's whether someone was tracking the certificate dates, talking to the treating doctor, and had suitable duties ready before the worker was cleared for them.
The Thrive Response Standard
Published response times. Reported every month.
Early intervention only means something when it has a number attached. These are ours. They are written into the service agreement, and we report against them every month — including the months we miss.
2 hrs
Referral acknowledged, in business hours
4 hrs
Worker contacted personally — a conversation, not a text
Same day
Employer briefed on what we found and what happens next
1 business day
On site where warranted, assessing the task itself
48 hrs
Suitable duties on the table, matched to real demands
5 days
Written plan issued to every party
Priority acknowledgement within 1 hour applies on the Complete package. If you are comparing providers, ask each of them for their response times in writing.
The gap
Four parties. Nobody between them.
Every claim has the same four participants, and each one is doing their own job properly. What goes wrong sits in the space between them — and by default that space belongs to nobody.
Worker
Reports the injury, then waits to be told what happens next.
Employer
Runs the workplace, and has to find duties that genuinely exist.
Treating doctor
Treats the injury and writes the certificate.
Insurer
Manages the claim and pays against the paperwork.
The handovers between them
Certificate dates, duties offers, calls that need returning, the follow-up nobody is rostered to do. This is the part Thrive owns.

How it works
Your first month, start to finish.
No long onboarding, no discovery phase you pay for. We're useful in week one.
Week 1
We walk the site
Site visit, review of any open claims, and a look at how injuries currently get reported and handled.
Week 1–2
Your people meet us
A short pre-start introduction so workers know who we are and that reporting early won't be held against them.
Week 2
Baseline report
What we found, what we'd change first, and what your open claims need. In plain English, not a compliance document.
Ongoing
We're just there
Scheduled onsite days, response inside the standard whenever something happens, and a monthly report that takes five minutes to read.
What you get every month
Reporting your leadership team will actually read.
Not activity logs. Duration, trends and the things that need a decision — with the numbers that predict whether a claim is about to get expensive.

Who we help
Built for employers who need injury management handled properly.
Most small and mid-sized employers don’t have an injury management specialist on staff, and don’t need one full time. Thrive is that resource, without the headcount.
Small to mid-sized employers
Injury management capability without carrying it in-house. One point of contact who owns the coordination and already understands your workplace before anything happens.
Labour hire & contractors
High-exposure workforces, workers placed across multiple sites, and the host-employer duties arrangements that need sorting quickly.
Manufacturing, logistics & construction
Physically demanding work where manual tasks drive most of the claims, and changing sites and crews where suitable duties have to be found quickly.
Brokers & referral partners
A referral pathway for clients with an injured worker or a claim that isn’t progressing — with reporting that comes back to you, not around you.
Pricing
Published, because you shouldn’t have to ask.
Most providers make you sit through a meeting before they’ll talk numbers. Here’s what it costs. Outsourced injury management is the core service; everything else can be engaged on its own. All figures exclude GST.

Worth knowing: a lost-time claim costs an employer well beyond the medical bill once premium impact, replacement labour and lost productivity are counted. The value of a monthly package is that when someone is injured, you already know who to call and we already understand how your workplace operates.
Not sure which fits? Start with the free stalled claim review, or a $495 injury management health check — you’ll know within a week whether we’re useful.
About
Qualified to assess the work, not just the paperwork.
Much of injury management is paperwork. That work matters, but on its own it can’t show what a job physically involves. Thrive starts with the work itself.
Thrive is led by Cameron Fry, whose background combines physiotherapy and sport rehabilitation with more than a decade in workplace health and safety. That mix is the point: we read an injury in terms of the work — what the job physically demands, what a worker can safely do now, and what has to change for them to keep working.
Thrive is a non-clinical service. We don’t treat workers or give clinical advice, and holding that line is what lets us work alongside treating practitioners rather than across them. We’re engaged directly by you rather than through a worker’s statutory entitlement, so we can start before a claim exists.

Scope
Clear about what we are, and what we aren't.
We assess tasks, movement and physical demands. We don't treat, diagnose or certify — and being straight about that line is exactly why treating practitioners work well with us.
What we do
- Assess manual tasks, movement and physical demands
- Coach safe movement and manual handling
- Ergonomic and task risk assessment
- Design and coordinate suitable duties
- Coordinate claims, communication and documentation
- Refer promptly to medical care when needed
What we don't do
- Diagnose injuries or medical conditions
- Provide treatment or rehabilitation prescription
- Issue or alter certificates of capacity
- Provide medical or legal advice
- Decide liability or entitlement
- Bill against a worker’s statutory entitlement
Questions
The things people ask before they call.
How are you different from a physio or an approved rehab provider?
Approved workplace rehabilitation providers are engaged after a claim exists and bill against the worker's statutory entitlement. Physiotherapists and exercise physiologists treat. Thrive does neither — the physiotherapy background informs how we assess work and design duties, but we are a non-clinical service. We prevent injuries where we can, respond fast when something is reported, and coordinate the claim if one happens — working directly for you rather than through the entitlement system. That means we can start immediately, and we're not limited to what the scheme will fund.
Do we need to have a claim before we can engage you?
No — and ideally not. The most valuable work happens before a claim exists. That said, plenty of clients first call us about a file that's been open too long, and that's a perfectly good place to start.
We're a small business. Is this overkill?
Not at all. Essential is $750 a month — you are paying for someone to own it when something happens, and to already know your workplace when it does. If you would rather not commit to anything monthly, case management is available from $210 an hour, or start with a $495 injury management health check.
What happens to worker confidentiality?
Supervisors are told a worker's restrictions and capacity — what they can and can't do. They are not told the diagnosis or any clinical detail. Workers sign a consent form covering exactly who we can speak to and about what, and they can withdraw it at any time without affecting their entitlements.
Will early intervention discourage workers from lodging claims?
It must not, and we're explicit about that with every worker we meet. Early intervention is for discomfort that hasn't needed treatment. The moment someone seeks medical care, symptoms worsen, or a worker wants to lodge a claim, the file escalates and the normal statutory process applies. Nothing we do limits anyone's right to make a claim.
Do you work outside Perth?
Yes. Regional and remote WA sites are serviced with scheduled visits plus remote support between them. Travel beyond the metro area is charged separately and agreed in advance.
What does the free claim review actually involve?
Send us the basics on one file — injury date, current certificate status, whether duties have been offered. It’s a desktop review of one nominated claim: we identify the main barriers to progress and come back with recommended next steps. No cost and no obligation. It isn’t full case management, and it doesn’t include contact with the worker, the insurer or the treating practitioner.
